Kubah National Park, Sarawak

I made a 3D2N visit to Kubah National Park, Sarawak in Nov 2011 with a few friends. It was a frog haven, we spotted a few species of frogs. The frog pond is a must go if you like frogs! It would be a highly recommended destination for nature lover if only there were more mammals or birds. Unfortunately, we did not came across much bird life or mammals. We were told that the animals were deep inside the forest. We suspected that poaching could be the reason. What a pity! Good forest, little wildlife.

#20 Brooke's Water Skink. Very shy, high in the crevices when approached.

#21 Pencil-tailed Tree Mouse on a Simpoh Air tree feed on bud.

#22 Woolly Horseshoe Bat roosting inside a fallen hollow tree.
